Coronavirus/COVID-19 Info
                 

Following is some information that I've collected during the pandemic and previously. We got to test out some of this information when we had COVID go through some of our family. I'm thankful that we survived.  My prayer is that this information will help others.  Please feel free to share this weblink.

Father, I pray for (myself or name of person) to be healed of coronavirus.  Thank You that nothing is impossible for You. I pray for your mercy Father, and for the coronavirus to die, lungs to be clear, mucus/drainage to stop, heart and all organs and body systems to be healthy, blood vessels to be clean on the inside and strong and healthy on the outside, the immune system to be restored, and inflammation to go down, in Jesus's name.  Please guide me (or the person I'm praying for) to know  if any of the following ideas may be helpful.  In Jesus name. MEDICAL INFO
COVID-19 is an illness with a variety of symptoms that range from having no symptoms to very severe symptoms.There are some possible treatments that are showing promise. Early detection/early treatment seems to work best. Reducing inflammation in order to prevent a cytokine storm and preventing blood clotting are some of the things that appear to be helpful. 


  Zinc, Vitamin D, Quercitin, & Melatonin

Zinc is an antiviral.  You need to take it with with a zinc ionophore in order to be absorbed into the cells (Click Here)
Vitamin D is important for the immune system.  (Click Here) (Click Here)
Quercetin is a natural anti-inflammatory as well as helps the cells to absorb the zinc. It's available as a supplement you can get at a health food store or online. Note:  Hydroxychloroquine is a much better zinc ionophore if that is available to you.
Melatonin-Normally this is used to help with sleep, but it is also helpful in reducing inflammation among other things.

Reducing Inflammation
In the coronavirus, the lungs can become inflamed.  (Click Here) for suggestions to reduce inflammation.  You might consider combining several of the ideas at this link to lower inflammation. (I took some supplements of Quercetin, Zinc, Vitamin D, Tumeric, Ginger, Cinnamon, a Multivitamin, Garlic, also took 1 T Olive oil, and put the things in my tea see below.)

Drink Tea at a temp 133 degrees or hotter.

My Tea pot has a digital temperature setting.  I set it to 180 degrees and let it cool a bit before drinking it.  Green Tea is a good option since it's on the list of things that help to reduce inflammation. Squeeze some lemon juice in the tea for an added boost of Vitamin C. Adding some cinnamon, ginger, tumeric, or cayenne pepper to tea are also great ways to fight inflammation.

This has cayenne pepper and horseradish in it, so be prepared.  These two ingredients are on the list of things that can reduce inflammation. This spray really helped me!

Nasal Decongestant - we used Sinus 12 hr maximum strength that we got at Walmart.  They keep it behind the counter at the pharmacy.  You don't need a prescription but need to show your ID.

Old fashioned Nasal Steaming
This has worked for years to help loosen phlegm & congestion in the lungs and nasal passages. Just be careful.  I boiled a pan of water and carefully breathed in the steam for a few seconds and moved  my head away. I continued alternating breathing in through the nose and mouth.  For approx 5 minutes. It felt good to breath in deeply through the nose, and then deeply through the mouth, inflating deep into the lungs.  **BE CAREFUL**

    (I've seen sites that say it doesn't work, but
     the nasal steaming and the blow dryer did seem to
     help me.  It's free, and totally worth trying.

2) A friend gave me a copy of a mask pattern that she uses.
She showed me how she made a casing as part of the top seam for a wire to go through.  This seems alot easier than sewing on an extra piece.  She used electricians wire that had a yellow plastic coating and when the coating is stripped away there are 4 two-part wires inside.  One of these work really great for each mask! It is also the style that has elastic around the back of the head so it's easier on your ears.  It is kind of like this video (Click Here) At about the 6 minute mark she shows how to tie the elastic for over the head style masks.  Feel free to email me if you are interested in more info.
