(and the scriptures they are based on)

1) We only need A Mustard Seed of Faith

Lord, thank you that I only need a mustard seed of faith to move mountains.  Help me to have faith and not doubt.  Forgive me for any doubt in my heart and mind.

Matthew 17:20
He replied, "Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."

2) Faith comes from Jesus

Thank you Jesus that my faith comes from You.  You are the author and perfecter of my faith and you began a good work in me and You will complete it. By faith in Your name I can be strengthened. You are at work in me giving me the desire and the power to do what pleases You. Thank you that my faith can rest on Your power not on my abilities.

the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.

3) Faith comes from hearing

Lord, help me to hear your message in a way that makes it come alive to me personally and to know that you are talking to me because faith comes from hearing from You.

Romans 10:17
