Lord, I pray for more love because love is...not proud (1 Cor 13:4)
I pray for grace to do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility to consider others better than myself. (Phil 2:3)
Thank you that you want to help me be completely humble and gentle; patient, bearing with one another in love. (Ephesians 4:2)

Thank You that if I Humble myself before You Lord, You will lift me up. (James 4:10) (Please give me the grace to walk in gracious humility and not seek to be exalted, but rather to humbly serve.)
Lord help me learn not to exalt myself so that I need to be humbled, but to humble myself so I will be exalted and help me continue to be humble when that happens.

Then I will call, and You will answer; I will cry for help, and You will say: Here am I. "If I do away with the yoke of oppression, with the pointing finger and malicious talk, and if I spend myself on behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then my light will rise in the darkness, and my night will become like the noonday. You will guide me always; and will satisfy my needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen my frame. I will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.
(Isaiah 58:6-11)
The eyes of the arrogant will be humbled and human pride brought low; the Lord alone will be exalted in that day.The Lord Almighty has a day in store for all the proud and lofty, for all that is exalted (and they will be humbled), for all the cedars of Lebanon, tall and lofty, and all the oaks of Bashan, for all the towering mountains and all the high hills, for every lofty tower and every fortified wall, for every trading ship and every stately vessel. The arrogance of man will be brought low and human pride humbled; the Lord alone will be exalted in that day,and the idols will totally disappear.( Isaiah 2:11-18) Lord, help me to humble myself so I don't need to be humbled.
